Since its origination in 1886, Cappella has gone through many changes. Purposeful preservation efforts were made to restore the building's original visual appeal and history, while making improvements and adding design elements that connect past to present.​
Stella Ballroom
Comfortably seats 270 for dinner
Celebrate in an undeniably stunning venue. Stella Ballroom is the epitome of how historic charm meets modern day, with exposed brick, 1907 stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and skylights on display. Both the main floor and balcony are yours for the duration of your event, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for your guests.


Cappella Ballroom

The sweeping grandeur of Cappella Ballroom's 40' cathedral ceilings makes this bright and open, yet intimate space the perfect backdrop to bring the event of your dreams to life. From wedding ceremonies and musical performances to corporate happy hours and birthday parties, Cappella Ballroom is a historic gem in the heart of La Crosse, guaranteed to add that special something to your occasion.
Uptown Loft
Comfortably seats 150 guests for dinner, 270 in rows
Welcoming and elegant, Uptown Loft is perfect for intimate events, from wedding ceremonies and birthday parties, to corporate retreats and holiday parties. Elevator access makes this second-story venue accessible to anyone. Designed in an Art Deco style with 21 glimmering chandeliers and dark walnut floors, this beautiful setting awaits your next event.


Cargill-Pettibone Mansion
Sleeps 12, accommodates up to 50 for intimate events
Conveniently located just across the street from Cappella, the Cargill-Pettibone Mansion offers premium lodging and sets the stage for luxurious rehearsal dinners, intimate weddings, and bridal showers, to name a few. Built in 1887, the mansion has a historic past and was fully restored in 2016 to yield an incredible opportunity to live like La Crosse's historic elite.
